DESIGN CHALLENGE

Digitize non-digital forms to simplify reviewing citizen registration processes, reduce resource usage, and streamline data analysis

The project involved creating a standalone web application with two-factor login, ultimately streamlining the citizen registration process and enabling easier data analysis

HOW DID WE STARTED

What are the steps of the citizen registration process, and what forms do the workers fill out?

Our journey started with a product vision board session that allowed us to dive deeply into the client's goals and establish a clear direction and tasks. In order to get ready for Sprints, we first assembled a backlog, carried out research to comprehending a large number of forms that must be implemented in applications. The main goal was to really delve into the workers' processes to better understand their needs and workflow, ensuring a user-centric design approach.

Key Features

  • • Centralized dashboard displaying comprehensive data for easy access and management
  • • Electronic signature functionality for efficient document validation
  • • Automatic data saving capabilities to prevent loss of information
  • • PDF export feature for convenient document sharing and storage

Key Takeaways

  • • Develop intuitive, multifunctional digital forms to optimize workflow efficiency
  • • Simplify report creation and form filling to ensure accurate registration verification
  • • Implement security measures, including two-factor authentication, for enhanced application protection.

MY ROLE

Team lead in a multidisciplinary team

It was my responsibility to lead our team through the project. From performing research to leading meetings and communicating with clients, we make sure we fully understand the needs of our users.

In the field of user interface design and prototyping, we collaborated with other designers to create high-fidelity clickable prototypes that were put through accurate user testing. This led to the development phase, where we worked closely with the development team to make sure our project seamlessly matched the client's objectives and vision.

SOLUTION

We streamlined citizen registration with multifunctional digital forms, ensuring security, usability, and productivity for workers

RETRO

Utilizing the Agile framework, we established an organized workflow, ensuring efficiency and adaptability throughout the project

We specifically applied the Scrum methodology throughout every phase of our project to successfully navigate the complexities of our scope, which stands out by its complexity and significant information requirements. This choice was crucial for establishing an organized project management strategy since it enabled us to divide work into achievable sprints and quickly iterate in response to changing requirements.

Our UX/UI design team and the development team were able to work together seamlessly by adopting this agile framework, which promoted an environment of constant feedback and iterative improvement. Our ability to respond quickly to client feedback sessions and track progress in real-time was made possible by this dynamic approach, which also helped to keep our design solutions closely aligned with project objectives and user needs throughout the development phases
